Wie serviert man 14 Songs in schmalen 20 Minuten? Knigge + Krust aus Köln haben sich ein herzhaft-sweetes Rezept überlegt, welches du hier auf ihrem Debütalbum probieren darfst. Obwohl sich das wortkarge Trio bestehend aus Drums, Bass und Gitarre in ihren 1-Zeilen-Songs für die deutsche Sprache entschieden hat, klingt diese Platte weder nach Turbostaat noch nach Chefdenker. Das schmeckt schon eher nach Hardcore-Punk amerikanischer Prägung mit einer feinen Prise Melodie. Hinzu kommt bestechend charmanter female/male-Wechselgesang. Zuvor hatten sich die Drei natürlich schon in anderen Bands versucht (z.B. Nein Nein Nein, Karate Disco, Koeter, Lhotse, Krautbomber) und tun dies weiterhin (z.B. Dr. Dosenbier, Anti Anti Anti, Hinüber). Knigge + Krust sind allerdings keine folkloristische Selbstaufwärmung. Vielmehr haben sie uns hier eine kochend heiße Suppe eingebrockt, die du mit uns auslöffeln solltest. Geh und sag es deinen Freunden!
